About SnapPose

SnapPose is a free iPhone and Android app that turns the place you are standing in into pose ideas. Its AI reads a photo of your surroundings — the light, the background, the surfaces — and returns poses from real photographs shot in comparable places. It is made by Novahub Technology Company Limited, and it never generates a body.
SnapPose exists because of a specific moment: you have found somewhere worth photographing, someone raises a phone, and your body forgets what it normally does with itself.
Pose apps have been answering the wrong half of that. A gallery of four hundred poses is easy to build and pleasant to scroll, and it is close to useless while you are standing on a particular beach, in particular light, with a bin two metres to your left. The poses in it were held somewhere else.
What it actually does
You give SnapPose the place, three ways: photograph your surroundings, pick a landmark it has found near you, or describe the shot in words. Its AI reads what it is given — the direction of the light, how much depth the background has, what you could lean on or sit on — and returns poses from real photographs taken somewhere comparable.
Then it closes the last gap. Pick a pose, and SnapPose traces it onto your live camera as an outline you step into, so you are aligning with a line instead of remembering what the shoulder was doing.
There is a longer explanation of the method in how to match a pose to your scene.
The one rule
SnapPose does not generate bodies. The AI runs on your scene and never on a person. Every reference in the app is a photograph somebody actually took, of somebody who actually held that pose.
This is not a stylistic preference. A generated pose can look convincing in a thumbnail and be one no body can hold — a shoulder at an angle a shoulder does not reach, a hand resting on nothing. As a reference that is worse than useless, because you will try it. We wrote up what else to check in a pose app, and this is the check that matters most.
Who makes it
SnapPose is built by Novahub Technology Company Limited. It runs on iPhone and Android, costs nothing to install, and needs no account, no email and no card to start using.
